This project was to create a calendar with any topic of our choosing. I decided to make a bird calendar because I enjoy photographing wild birds. All the photos I used in this project are from my time birding. This was also a great exercise for me because I learned how to make a calendar very efficiently. This is done by creating one set of pages as a template and then changing the holidays and images on that template.
As for the birds themselves, I listed the type of bird for each month. I have been taking bird photos for a number of years now, so I have a wide selection of photos. While I have taken photos of birds at the zoo, all the photos in this calendar are completely wild birds.
For the calendar layout I wanted the holidays to be very easy to identify so I highlighted them in yellow. I also roughly aligned the season of the photo and the season of the month so that the bird fits with the month that it is on.
